OUR NET ZERO CLIENT POLICY

Stonehaven’s mission is to help clients create a pathway to net zero and we work with private, public and a wide range of non-profit organisations to achieve this aim.

Our role is to find lasting and workable solutions to global challenges. This not only includes, but necessitates, working with both hard-to-abate and extractive sectors within the current carbon intensive economic model, as we support the shift to low carbon. They are pivotal to the transitions required to address the climate and nature crises. It requires working with actors across the globe who are at different stages in their decarbonisation journey and supporting them in that journey. We do so unapologetically, as we only work with firms who are genuinely committed to advancing decarbonisation. We fully support the scientific consensus on climate change and biodiversity loss, and our advice is always robust, challenging and in line with that consensus. We often act as a bridge between companies and civil society and work hard to earn the respect of both.

Where there is debate and controversy is likely where you will find our firm – we believe we operate best in these complex policy landscapes.
